JUDGES

Mr. Takayuki Fukada   (Japan)

In recent years, Aquascape has made remarkable progress on a global scale.

My hope is that Thailand's Aquascape will be refined further through this TAC contest
and will draw attention from the world. And I'm convinced that it will be possible.

Finally,
I'm looking forward to a wonderful work from many Thailand's Aquascapers to be submitted.
Thank you.

Mr. Masashi Ono   (Japan)

I hope to meet a wonderful layout with pretty fishes in yours contest

Mr. Juan Puchades (Spain)

It will be a great pleasure to take part as a judge in your contest.
I have been studying for a long time all asian works
and Thai tanks always surprise me year over year.

My comment to Nano scapes:
I would like to congratulate all contestants.
I have been very surprised of the high level of techniques,
and the brilliant use of plants&mosses done by many of the contestants.
I have analyzed some brilliant forest-scape works,
all full of wonderful details and with a perfect use of different mosses.
My choice has been guided by recreation of natural habitat for fishes.
The tanks that have simulate in better conditions a wet, flooded forest have been my first choices.
I would like to say something to some amazing landscapes.
I love your works, some of them are simply magnifique.
I gave them the highest scores in many aspects, but i couldn't do it in natural habitat for fishes.
Because of this,
some landscapes are in the first places of my grading but not as first tank.

My comment to General Category:
I am very happy to see some examples of truly well executed classical Nature Aquarium.
Also some of them are huge tanks. Keep on working in this way to achieve the biggest scores.
In the other hand, i have seen some tanks with poor quality photos,
with some devices inside, or simply to immature tanks.
It is important give the maximum care to your photos,
this is the only way that we, as judges, have to evaluate your work.

Mr. Robertus Hartono   (Singapore)

It has been a great pleasure to be one of the first few people
that have the privilege to see spectacular scape before its release to public.

The layout technique has remarkably progressing each year making it tougher to rank.

I personally deeply fascinated by participant creativity
to the point of re-assess my sense of inspiration as a scaper.

I'm excited to see how the contest will progress here after.

Mr. Luca Galarraga   (Brazil)

Congratulations for the awesome nano tanks, really impressive,
was a very hard job to judge so many great works!

Mr. Ngo Truong Thinh   (Vietnam)

Mr. Long Tran Hoang   (Vietnam)

Mr. Jullawong Prapantha   (Thailand)

Mr. Jurijs Jutjajevs   (Germany)

                                                        General Category Award
.

     Juan Puchades:
A classical tank with triangle structure, but really well executed. Brilliant work. My third choice!!!

     Robertus Hartono:
The moss may need some trimming but other than that it is nicely done

     Takayuki Fukada:
It is a very excellent balance of composition. It would be better to feel the presence of fish more.

     Juan Puchades:
Congratulations, this tank is simply wonderful expression of Nature, I have seen trully Wabi-sabi on it. My winner.

     Masashi Ono:
Very impressive rock layout. The way of using moss is amazing.

     Robertus Hartono:
My best scape for this category, I like the way you use the flame moss. However, I don’t like the photo, too saturated

     Takayuki Fukada:
It is very beautiful and the way to take pictures is also successful.
Let's devise because the aquatic plants are a bit monotonous.

     Robertus Hartono:
I suggest an opening at the end of the path would make it look deeper

     Takayuki Fukada:
Although it is a beautiful work, the left and right balance is bad. You should make the left side slightly larger.

     Takayuki Fukada:
I was most impressed by this work. However, it is very regrettable that it is still incomplete.

     Robertus Hartono:
This scape could look much better if the picture was taken properly

     Takayuki Fukada:
It is the composition of the interesting rock but has failed to photography. Fish does not look good.

.

     Juan Puchades:
Great scape, it is very similar to the tank i select as a winner, why this one not in my top3 ?
Just two things, composition is a bit monotone, and planting choice is not the best for my taste.
Anyway, its brilliant and on my top5!

     Masashi Ono:
Center valley give us impression of endless flow and composition of woods is impressive.

     Robertus Hartono:
I like the way you stick the moss on the wood, dry start method?

     Takayuki Fukada:
If there is more difference in the thickness of the driftwood, further depth is felt.

     Juan Puchades:
     I really like this forest-scape.
Author has created a very natural and flooded sensation thanks to the right use of round stones and mosses.
A very weel wet sensation into a well balanced composition.

     Robertus Hartono:
The picture was taken just at the right time. Using baby windelov on the tree is nice idea.
However, with so much vine, I wonder trimming maintenance will be a problem

     Takayuki Fukada:
Let's create a space in the center because the aquatic plants are too dense.

     Juan Puchades:
This is a brilliant landscape, full of nice details and skilled techniques.
I can not give my best scores in recreation of habitat for fishes, but all other scores is highly rated.

     Robertus Hartono:
I like the overall composition, the rocks composition is excellent. My comment, bucep and nana should just remove them

     Takayuki Fukada:
There is force! Let's make the flow of white sand clearer, It will be ranked in the more higher if so.

     Juan Puchades:
This tank is perfectly composed as a landscape. Great balance, good perspective, correct use of material.
Just a simple problem, it is not the perfect or natural habitat for fishes.
Due to its perfect degree of skills I can not give the best score to this

     Takayuki Fukada:
Work that feels the high technical strength of the author. Since the composition is orthodox please challenge!

     Masashi Ono:
Full of Natural feelings. Background colors is fitted to this layout. Wonderful!

     Robertus Hartono:
Too much small branchess at center which distract viewer. Could be better if  you reduce or remove entirely

     Takayuki Fukada:
How to use driftwood is interesting. Use more moss on both sides of the forest, even better if it gets dark.

     Robertus Hartono:
Nicely done, very detail on the wood. Good idea on the falling tree,
make it look more interesting than just another jungle scape

     Takayuki Fukada:
Hope there is more change on the left and right of the work.

Apocalypto
[by Mr.Eakthanat Isarathikul]
    Juan Puchades:
One of the nicest tanks on the competition.
I really enjoy analizing the foreground of the tank with the wonderful use of mosses, so skilled!
But, background should be worked witha bit more care. For me, into the top5.
     Takayuki Fukada:
Long tape-shaped grass does not match this work.
And since overall the impression is too dark it's better to use white sand.

    Robertus Hartono:
The horizon at the back is to smooth, make it look unatural

Directionless
[by Mr.Chonlatee Jauronrusmee]
    Masashi Ono:
Good position of pretty fishes and Good arrangement of plants.
     Robertus Hartono:
This is the only scape that look like underwater sceenery,
hence highest mark on the "recereatian of natural habitat for fish"

[General Category]
.

COLOURFUL  JUNGLE.
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Masashi Ono:
This work is totally ballanced beautiful layout. I get natural feeling.
     Robertus Hartono:
Classic example of Nature Aquarium scape, nicely done
     Takayuki Fukada:
It is an orthodox style but a very completed work. Planting of aquatic plants is also wonderful.

GREEN WAVE
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Juan Puchades:
This is a great example of Nature Aquarium on a huge tank.
Author has created a natural view on a difficult panoramic tank.
Congratulations for this incredible work. My second choice!!
     Robertus Hartono:
My only comment the needle java fern on the left hand side breaking the flow,
it would be nice if it is pointing or growing to the right
     Takayuki Fukada:
     Aquatic fern works beautiful.
However, since the impression is the same in whole, let out a change to more composition.

NATURAL  BLOSSOM
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Takayuki Fukada:
Behind the driftwood in the center Let's bright.
If you do that, the impression of the work will be more better.

Natural discovery
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Takayuki Fukada:
It is a very beautiful and impressive work.
It was better if there was a sense of unity in the type of aquatic plants.

STONE TO STAR.
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Masashi Ono:
Unique rock arrangement. Wonderful composition of plants.
I recommend to add more shade place by position of rocks.
     Takayuki Fukada:
It will be a great work if you show the shade of the rock more.

BEGIN
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Robertus Hartono:
The rock size almost all the same height, some trimming on the stem plant would be nice
     Takayuki Fukada:
This is a very difficult composition, but it works fine.
It is better if there are driftwood extending further downward.

DREAM  DESTINATION
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Takayuki Fukada:
Although it is a powerful work, the area of white sand looks cluttered.
It is better if there is a rock in the upper left space.

WILDWOOD  MYSTERY.
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Robertus Hartono:
Plants selection are too messy for my liking
     Takayuki Fukada:
Whole to water plants is too much growth. It is important to firmly trimming.

MY  HOME  V.2
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Robertus Hartono:
I like the V1 much better
     Takayuki Fukada:
It is a wonderful work but driftwood is bare. Necessary to devise such as attaching a Moss.

GREEN ZONE
[by Mr.Nobphacha Yimyou]
    Takayuki Fukada:
Behind the driftwood in the center Let's bright.
If you do that, the impression of the work will be more better.

Lets green
[by Mr.Thanapat Preeyangkool]
    Takayuki Fukada:
The placement of the rock is cool.
It would be wonderful if you cut the front moss and show the rock a little more.

Cyan & Skylar
[by Mr.Thanapat Preeyangkool]
    Takayuki Fukada:
Let's cover the gap between both sides of the tank with water plants.
Impression is raised by the processing here.

I'm possible
[by คุณอิทธิพงษ์ ดีวรรณ]
     Juan Puchades:
Very nice scape, well executed and correctly composed,
but i miss a bit something more interesting in the middle of the scape.
     Robertus Hartono:
I like the way you mixing the plants, very skillful plant mixing technique
     Takayuki Fukada:
The brightness of the yin and aquatic plants of driftwood, the contrast is wonderful masterpiece.

Stream Stone and Stem
[by Mr.Wongsawan Wetchasit]

Avatar Mountains
[by Mr.Narongrit Dantragoon]
     Takayuki Fukada:
Very beautiful work. The position of the fish is perfect.

Sense of Nature
[by Mr.Jirawong Laopiyasakul]
     Robertus Hartono:
I can't tell whether you intentionally use algae or unintentional. Either way, could be tough to control
     Takayuki Fukada:
It is a work that has a very natural feeling but driftwood is bare and feels unfinished.

Rivendell
[by Mr.Narongrit Dantragoon]
     Takayuki Fukada:
The balance of the rock composition is excellent. But red shrimp is too big, so you better not put it.

In Dream
[by Mr.Eakthanat Isarathikul]
     Takayuki Fukada:
The thickness of the driftwood is the same. Large driftwood is necessary on the front.

Refresh
[by Mr.Jirawong Laopiyasakul]
     Juan Puchades:
I am a bit sad with this great work.
Composition and balance is almost perfect,
but planting arrangement its a bit poor, trees need some more nature feeling.
     Robertus Hartono:
The overall composition is very nice, problem is lack of focal point,
may be some path/stream would help.
     Takayuki Fukada:
In the case of this work, it would be better to have a white back.
How to use driftwood is powerful and wonderful.

I Scream
[by Mr.Eakthanat Isarathikul]
     Juan Puchades:
well executed tank. Right balance, right underwater feeling, right plants choice&health.
Just a simple thing, not very original. Anyway close to perfection as a reproduction of natural habitat.
     My second choice!!
     Robertus Hartono:
I feel too messy to my liking, tone down a bit on the branches would be nice
     Takayuki Fukada:
There are too much driftwood and there is a feeling of pressure. Let's create a space calm.

Authum is coming
[by Mr.Watana Supukpongvilai]
     Takayuki Fukada:
The impression of red grass is nice, but maintaining it for a long period is difficult.
