13. I know you have traveled a lot in South and Central America but South East Asia as well (and many other places) to study aquatic plants and biotopes. Which country/region do you like the most? Can you tell us a story about these expeditions?
 

Karen: Oh, that’s a hard question too!  I have enjoyed all the places I’ve traveled for different reasons.  I suppose if I had to pick one favorite, it would be Thailand because of the diversity of plants, the friendly people, the nice weather and the ease of travel.
