hi all i just did a quick comparison  between Seachem Aquavitro and ADA fertz , just wanna to check who is draining  our pockets more
Seachem Aquavitro the a new line of planted tank fertz from Seachem, its available in Thailand ,seems not much aquarist know about it , Recently I picked up the complete aquavitro  series (7 bottles) from Jatujak, for my 24 inches ada tank (60p) which hold net 40 liters of water ,the reasons why I was tempted to buy this series are

1) Seachem is a reputed company there flourish line of products are quiet successful, their “Excel “and  Flourish is wide used in Thailand
2) Seachem doesn't hide its contents and quantity like ADA, so you know what and how much goes in your tank
3) Seachem is marketing there Aquavitro products as premium line of products with guaranteed lab analysis while concentration of chemicals are high in its pure from

This complete series cost me 3500 baht, it’s expensive, as the upfront cost is high but after doing the math’s it seems worth it, let me explain how
To get the maximum benefit of these products it’s good to use a complete series so it’s easy to balance

As per the dosing recommendation by Seachem for my 40 liters of water (Ada 60p) I need to dose as following

 seems aquavitro cost less money and last longer then Ada, as seachem prints contents/ quantity are on there bottles, its easy to customize dosing ,while still ada wins over bottles and packaging

i first saw these products at seasun shop few months ago you can check there , but then the complete series i bought from another shop in jj, unfortunately i didnt remember the name of the shop but its exact behind jj mall, its a decent  aquarium shop with a glass door and walls, its the only shop seling paludarium plants and tank,lot of driftwood outside the shop ,they are husband and wife ,this week if i go then will get the name of the shop

ohh this week we have a aquascaping(plant aquarium) contest  at future park rangsit
(near donmuang airport) krub actually this event is a fish contest ... many kind of fish
and also they have a plant aquarium contest krub so you can join
27june-6july krub (i will take my tank to the contest and i will go to the event everyday)

compare to Ada its worth it, but nothing can beat DIY fertz , chemicals are chemicals, kno3/kcl used by ada or by seachem or you buy  lab grade kno3 from a hydroponic shop and mix it with distill water, its all same ,plants are not brand conscious like humans they don't care either its Ada or seachem or freka or DIY, if they have enough they will grow
the highest quality and most expensive fertz can fail if the aquarium is out of balance, if your want healthy plants and a algae free aquarium then try bring a balance between light ,Co2 and O2 , fertz comes the last, if you miss your fertz for few days to weeks its shouldn't be a big problem but if your Co2 fluctuates for few days it stunned the plant growth and this triggers algae's.

Plants are very sensitive to light and Co2, lights are fixed so usually PAR doesn't changes often , but Co2 ppm's can be affected by lot of reasons
a cheap Co2 regulator which keeps dropping the pressure which affects the bubble rates ,
clogging  diffuser,
water flow in tank,
surface scum etc  ,
professional aquatics spend money on good dual stage regulators and high quality needle valves which cost nearly 20000 baht, they use reactors or  skimmer pumps (needle wheel) to dissolve Co2 so they don't clog easily, while most of them prefer overflow with wet/dry filter over canister filters as it promotes good gas exchange and the last all of them prefer to stay away from branded  fertz  ,they use DIY fertz, 5555

It's "Ton-Sai-Plai-Nam" then. Recommended one.
They're super friendly. excellent aquascapers. Have a lot of rare plants and stunning driftwoods. But not much of a high-techey stuff, just the basic equipment.

Yeap i agree, they are quiet friendly and hold quality plants, they seems not too techie but they know what they do, their biggest tank is really admirable
