Some nice shrimps you have.  A lot of people must have envied you.
Your tanks seem to be of very different style than what Thai people like to do.
So, to me, they are quite refreshing to see.

You give banana to your shrimps? That's something I have never heard of. Does banana have any special benefit to shrimps?

I only have hundreds of cherry shrimps and a couple of yamato. Unfortunately, I don't really have a shrimp tank. All of them live with different fish in different tanks and they eat whatever the fish eat.

But maybe one day I'll make a shrimp-only tank too. One day...

In France,aquarist of shrimp take very different food: nettle,carrot,green beans,paste,sheet cattapa,spiruline...

what do you have fish with your shrimp?

I think it's a very different approach. Most Thais would feed only prepared food to their shrimps. But I think it's probably a good idea to give them fresh vegetable too.

I keep shrimps with young dwarf cichlids. Cherry shrimps are very good at this. They will finish off any leftover fish food and not do any harm to the fish, even newly hatched fish fry are safe from cherry shrimps !! 

good idea for feeding them, ill try them too, we tend to feed them with boil melberry leaves and they love it

Geek, what do you use as substrate for your first tank? I've never seen it here(well, I'm quite new to this thing whatsoever). It's nice, and so are your other tanks. très bien !

Bonjour geek   , je m'appelle pakorn . maintenant j'ai 2 tank : l'un pour pleco et l'autre pour angelfish altum (projet pour l'avenir) . je venir de preparer un tank pour redbee . je pense que nous pouvons s'echanger des info de redbee  si vous voulez.
